This is a story about old Frank who feels that his death is near. He invites his adult children to visit him after which he explains that he has written an autobiography about his existence and explains that he has a publisher who is interested in it.
Frank asks them to read one chapter each and as they begin, they realize that he starts his existence as an Egyptian in the time of Moses. His children at first think that he is delusional, but their mother assures them that by the end of the book they will believe. They are skeptical at first then are confused as he tells them that he has always tried to avoid being a warrior and always dies a warrior’s death until now.

A city cop finds his live-in girlfriend is having affairs with his other officers plus as many others as she can fit in. He is subsequently promoted and sent to take charge of an out of the way township to allow others not to be restricted by his on-duty hours.
Jack arrives at this seaside township and finds that law and order have to be handled differently in a country town. At first, he is disappointed with his posting and has to learn but soon he fits into this way of life trying to solve the townships problems one at a time, after which he becomes loved by all.
